Back to school, back to school...to prove to dad that I'm not a fool

Here I am* back at good ole' GSU. This could be the best semester thus far. I have 3 business classes, and aside from not understanding my Russian Math teacher, I think my professors will be ok. I do have a crazy right-wing wacko as an Econ teacher...He told us in class that Democrats are stupid, he voted for George W. Bush, he only watches Fox News because they give you the facts straight, liberals are ruining the economy, and that basically every country that isn't America is a communist. This guy did fight for our country as a marine though, so he's definitely entititled to his opinion. And we are in college, so its not like he's brainwashing us. There's just some form of unprofessionalism that is exuded when teachers give out their political views, especially when they go against mine...just kidding. Winston Churchill said it best when he said "Any man who is not a liberal when young
has no heart, any man who is not a conservative when older has no brain". I interpret that as, when you're young and full of life, fight for civil rights...go against "The Man", and when you're old and rich, become a Republican so you can benefit from those sweeping tax cuts!





Another interesting comment, The Young Democrats sent me an email (since I occasionally attend meetings) to tell me about the MLK day parade down mainstreet, and that they're meeting at KFC as a gathering point...talk about racism.
